OSIS™ has released a secure online tool to validate standardized RMBS loan level data files in compliance with the templates and taxonomies published by the European Central Bank and the Bank of England.
The OSIS Loan Level Data Portal enables RMBS originators and servicers to validate loan files in Microsoft Excel format. The portal returns a detailed valuation log available for download helping users to validate compliance with central bank requirements and to improve the completeness, accuracy and consistency of their loan data.

Quality Research on loan level data
OSIS™ tested the quality of 24 loan level reports of 12 transactions from RBS, Barclays, The Co-operative Bank, Santander and Nationwide. We consider loan level requirements of the Bank of England an important step towards more transparency, allowing investors to conduct a detailed credit analysis independent of credit rating agencies. However, data quality needs to be much improved to be of full use.

OSIS™ currently accepts RMBS loan level data as a single Microsoft Excel worksheet where each data field is named as per the central bank template. Please contact us if your data are spread across several worksheets or are currently held in different formats.
